Mission Statement

Our mission as Christians is to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, spreading his message of love, compassion, and salvation to all people, while embodying His example of servitude and selflessness.

As Christians we are to honor and glorify God in all we do, reflecting the love of Christ to the world, and fulfilling His great commandment to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Statement of Faith

The Triune God: We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, distinct yet inseparable, each fully and completely God. 1 John 5:7-8 (NIV)

God the Father: We believe in God the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth, who, in His love, sent His Son into the world to redeem humanity. He is a perfect Father, infinite in wisdom, mercy, and grace. 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NIV)

God the Son (Jesus Christ): We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atonement for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is the way, the truth, and the life, and through faith in Him, we have salvation. John 3:16-17 (NIV)

God the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, and guides believers, equipping them for a life of holiness, service, and witness. John 16:7 (NIV)

The Bible: We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments, as the infallible Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV)

Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. By repentance and faith, individuals are justified, adopted into God's family, and receive the assurance of eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 NIV

The Church: We believe in the universal Church, the Body of Christ, consisting of all believers. We affirm the local church as a community of believers, gathered for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and the proclamation of the Gospel. Acts 2:42-47 (NIV), Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

The Second Coming: We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. Believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God, and the unrepentant will face eternal separation. 1 Thessalonian 4:16-17 (NIV), John 14:1-3 (NIV)

Missions: We are called to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and demonstrating God's love to the world. Matthews 28:19-20 (NIV)

Founder and Visionary

What started out as a whisper from God to invite 100 women to a luncheon to develop lasting friendships has grown into this Flourish retreat less than a year later.

Our vision for this women’s conference is to create a life changing gathering rooted in faith, love, and sisterhood. We envision a place where women can come together to cultivate meaningful friendships, deepen spiritual connections, and collaboratively build thriving and Christ centered communities.

At the heart of our vision is the belief that Christian friendships have the power to strengthen, encourage and uplift women in their faith journeys. Through this retreat, we aim to foster authentic and lasting connections, creating a community of sisters who support and inspire each other to grow spiritually and personally.

Through speakers, breakout sessions, and worship, our retreat will equip women with spiritual insights and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges and be a positive force within their families, marriages, ministries, churches, marketplace, and communities. We aspire to foster a spirit of love, compassion and service that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ. In our vision, thriving communities are grounded in the principles of faith, hope, and love. We envision attendees leaving the conference with a renewed sense of purpose and passion, ready to be the beacons of light and love in a world that often longs for God’s grace and mercy.

Our vision extends beyond the retreat’s duration as we aim to create an enduring sisterhood of faith among participants. By fostering ongoing connections, we envision a lasting impact where Christian women continue to uplift and pray for each other long afterwards. We envision communities where the power of faith and friendship transform lives and draw others closer to God.

Together, let’s embark on a journey of cultivating friendships and build thriving Christian communities with God’s design in mind.
